University Medical Center Utrecht (UMC Utrecht)

UMC Utrecht is a leading international university medical centre generating, testing, sharing, and applying knowledge on health, illness, and health care for the benefit of patients and society. In conjunction with patients, with an impact on health and with committed employees. The Centre of Expertise on Palliative Care, part of the UMCU, developed a Paediatric Advance Care Planning Toolkit (IMPACT), a toolkit and training for paediatric advance care planning. Our mission is to provide care and treatment aligned to patient goals and preferences. Because every person counts.

The role

As developers of the IMPACT tool for Advance Care Planning (ACP) in paediatrics, we are involved in PALLIAKID to adapt the IMPACT tool and train clinicians to use IMPACT in their practice within PALLIAKID.
