The International Observatory on End of Life Care (IOELC) at Lancaster University is internationally recognised for its high quality research, evaluation, education, advocacy and consultancy designed to improve palliative and end of life care for patients and family carers.

Role within Pal-cycles:

Lancaster University team leads work package 1, with extensive experience in development and cross-cultural adaptation of interventions in palliative care. Developing, preparing and standardising the intervention for cross-national implementation comprises five tasks spread over 14 months.
