The 13th<\/sup> International Seminar of the European Palliative Care Research Centre\u202ftook place over two days (1st<\/sup>-2nd<\/sup> February) in Zurich, Switzerland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The theme of this year\u2019s seminar was \u2018Preparing for the future of palliative care\u202f<\/em>. Science is our success\u2019\u2019<\/em>\u202fand was reflected in themed sessions on: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Delegates were welcomed to this international seminar by David Blum (Switzerland) and Stein Kaasa and\u202fTonje Lundeby from Norway. In the session on the first day on EU \/ large international projects chaired by Camilla Zimmermann and Claudia Bausewein, the PAINLESS project was presented by Prof Mar\u00eda Teresa Carrillo De La Pe\u00f1a entitled \u2018<\/em><\/strong>PAINLESS \u2013 Pain relief in palliative care of cancer (using home-based neuromodulation and predictive biomarkers<\/em><\/strong>)\u2019\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u202fFurther information on: <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
