The Laboratory brings together over 20 researchers and academic teachers including physicians, sociologists, psychologists, statisticians as well as specialists working in the field of IT, public health and social care. Our main objective is research on the quality of life of older people, health promotion and health education for older patients and their families. Our mission is also examination of the quality of health care, social services, long-term, palliative, and geriatric care provided for older population, solution development for health care challenges, building international cooperation in the area of senior health care and the delivery of lectures on geriatrics and related subjects.
