The International Observatory on End-of-Life Care is based at Lancaster University in the UK. We conduct cutting-edge research and provide innovative educational programmes to improve palliative and end-of-life care for patients and family carers. Our research is multi-disciplinary, and we are particularly interested in research around service development in palliative care in acute and community settings. Much of our research is international through our EU-funded projects, but we also work with international PhD students. At any given time, we have about 40 students studying for a PhD in palliative care.

The Role

Lancaster University supports WP1 for contextually adapting and developing In-Touch manuals, ensuring fidelity within the study, and supporting and facilitating the completion of other work packages such as WP8.
